Soccer Game Preview: Stevens Point vs. D.C. Everest

The Stevens Point Panthers will take on the D.C. Everest Evergreens on Tuesday.

Stevens Point took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Wausau West, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday.

Meanwhile, D.C. Everest unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept they happy, as they haven't lost a game since May 9th.

Stevens Point's victory bumped their record up to 9-7-1. With that draw, D.C. Everest's record moves to 12-6-1.

Stevens Point suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to D.C. Everest in their previous meeting last Thursday. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
