Michael Davis gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Monday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because West Iredell is 6-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-8 otherwise.

Davis' strong effort led West Iredell over Foard and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have been struggling on the road and they will enter the matchup having lost three straight away games. Will Davis and the rest of the Warriors crew be able to turn things around?
