Elkin proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the North Stokes Vikings by a goal, winning 1-0. Elkin's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Elkin pushed their record up to 7-3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Stokes, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-2-2.
