Coldwater had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Miller City Wildcats.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-13.

Coldwater's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brylee Knapke, who had 12 digs and two assists. Knapke has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Coldwater's record is now 15-3. As for Miller City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Coldwater and Miller City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Cavaliers will square off against Marion Local at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 114). Meanwhile, Miller City (ranked 177th) will meet McComb (ranked 473rd) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
