MTI School of Knowledge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Central Christian Academy 73-35. MTI School of Knowledge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-15.
Central Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Riggins out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. Mason Allen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
MTI School of Knowledge's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Central Christian Academy, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MTI School of Knowledge will take on GEO Next Generation at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on International at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
