Football Recap: Okolona Victorious + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Okolona had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 24-20 win over the West Tallahatchie Choctaws on Friday. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but the Chieftains were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Okolona and bumps their season record up to 5-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.0 points over those games. As for West Tallahatchie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Okolona will head out on the road to challenge Falkner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chieftains will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. West Tallahatchie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
