Bronson is 1-9 against Chiefland since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Bronson will be playing in front of their home fans against Chiefland at 7:00 p.m. Bronson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Bronson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Trenton on Monday. They fell 6-1 to the Tigers.

Julianne Lampton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
Meanwhile, Chiefland came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Dixie County 10-3 on Tuesday. The Indians' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.
Anna Jane Meeks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lily Hatch, who went 1-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Amber Campbell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Chiefland, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
Chiefland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bronson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. It's a different story for Chiefland, though, as they've only averaged .232. Will they be able to contain Bronson's hitters?
Everything went Bronson's way against Chiefland in their previous matchup on March 11th, as Bronson made off with an 8-0 victory. Will Bronson repeat their success, or does Chiefland has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
