Basketball Recap: Nova Gets the Win

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Nova walked away with it. They came out on top against the Flanagan Falcons by a score of 57-48 on Monday. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 69-67 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Flanagan still got an impressive performance from Dominic Carias, who posted 20 points. The dominant performance gave Carias a new career-high in points. Jayden Sainval was another key player, putting up ten points.

Nova's record is now 9-10. As for Flanagan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Nova wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-59 defeat against Miramar on the 5th. Flanagan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
