Basketball Recap: Boston Farris and Gaige Goodman Secure Win for Bowie

Bowie won the last time they faced Jacksboro and things went their way on Friday too. The Bowie Jackrabbits snuck past the Jacksboro Tigers with a 51-47 win.

Bowie was led to victory by Gaige Goodman and Boston Farris. Goodman dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards, while Farris posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Goodman is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Richey, who earned four points.

Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Jacksboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-11.

Coming up, Bowie will be playing at home against Peaster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peaster has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three games. Jacksboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
