Basketball Recap: Cor Jesu Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Joseph's Academy last Tuesday, Cor Jesu Academy came back down to earth. The Cor Jesu Academy Chargers fell to the Ursuline Academy Bears 46-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-51 back in December of 2024.

Cor Jesu Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Ursuline Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cor Jesu Academy has already played their next match (against Oakville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ursuline Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Visitation Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
