Softball Recap: Highlands Christian Takes a Loss

Highlands Christian lost against Olympic Heights back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights came up short against the Lions, falling 22-6. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hannah Lulien was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Hopkins, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Highlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Olympic Heights, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Highlands Christian has already played their next contest, a 12-11 victory against Atlantic Christian on the 7th. As for Olympic Heights, they will head out to face off against King's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
