Volleyball Game Preview: McDowell Trojans vs. Conneaut Area Eagles

The McDowell Trojans will square off against the Conneaut Area Eagles at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

McDowell came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Meadville. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Conneaut Area had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Marauders by a score of 2-0.

McDowell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Conneaut Area, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-1.

McDowell couldn't quite get it done against Conneaut Area in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
