West Ashley is a perfect 6-0 against Berkeley since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. West Ashley will head out on the road to take on Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. West Ashley is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, West Ashley didn't have quite enough to beat James Island and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, West Ashley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while James Island are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Berkeley fell victim to Goose Creek and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. Berkeley haven't had much luck with Goose Creek recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

West Ashley now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Berkeley, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Everything went West Ashley's way against Berkeley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as West Ashley made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Ashley since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
