Volleyball Recap: Savannah Country Day Find Success

Savannah Country Day won the last time they faced Savannah Classical Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Savannah Country Day was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10.

Boots Buckler was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight aces and seven assists. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Katherine Harlander also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Savannah Country Day now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Savannah Classical Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
