Volleyball Recap: Savannah Country Day Triumphs

Savannah Country Day won the last time they faced Savannah Classical Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Savannah Country Day took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10.

Savannah Country Day now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Savannah Classical Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Savannah Country Day will take on Glynn Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Savannah Classical Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cross at 5:00 p.m.
