Alexander picks up eighth straight win at home

Recap: Alexander Trojans vs. Pembroke Dragons

The Alexander Trojans won the last time they faced the Pembroke Dragons, and things went their way on Friday too. Alexander came out on top against Pembroke by a score of 53-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Alexander.

Pembroke's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Schneider, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Peterson, who scored 12 points along with four steals.

Alexander pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pembroke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Alexander will head out on the road to face off against Attica at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pembroke, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Wheatland-Chili at 7:00 p.m.
