Softball Recap: Anchor Bay Comes Up Short

Anchor Bay was the 8-6 winner over Dakota when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tars fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday.

Anchor Bay has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-12 record this season. As for Dakota, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 21-11 record.

Anchor Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dakota, they will welcome St. Clair at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Saints have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
