Baseball Recap: Two Harbors Takes a Loss

Two Harbors came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars, falling 13-3.

Garren Tikkanen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Two Harbors saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Two Harbors' loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14.

As of now, neither Two Harbors nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
