Volleyball Game Preview: Wake Forest Cougars vs. Vance County Vipers

The Wake Forest Cougars will take on the Vance County Vipers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wake Forest came up short against Heritage on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost nine in a row.

While Wake Forest was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Vance County lost 3-0 to Franklinton on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6, 25-9.

Wake Forest's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Vance County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.
