Basketball Recap: Sault Area Comes Up Short

Sault Area was the 54-41 winner over Boyne City when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sault Area Blue Devils took a blow against the Boyne City Ramblers on Monday, falling 68-29. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sault Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Boyne City, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Sault Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-61 defeat against Cheboygan on the 11th. As for Boyne City, they will host Gaylord at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
