Baseball Recap: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kickapoo last Saturday, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Spooner Rails by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Rails recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Spooner, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will challenge McDonell Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Spooner, they will face off against Ellsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
