Snow Canyon is 8-2 against Pine View since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Snow Canyon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Snow Canyon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Bishop Gorman, who was ranked first in their home state at the time (Snow Canyon was ranked second). The Warriors came up short against the Gaels on Saturday, falling 13-7. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trey Vaughn put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in hits (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Talan Hansen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jagger Mugavero, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Pine View came out on top against Cedar on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Reds 5-3.

The team relied heavily on Raiden Hunt, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Pine View's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Snow Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Snow Canyon got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Pine View by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
