Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Granite Hills' Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Granite Hills won the last time they faced El Cajon Valley, and Lathan Fry did his part to make sure it happened again. The Granite Hills Eagles walked away with a 53-40 victory over the El Cajon Valley Braves on Tuesday thanks in part to Fry, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 24 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 25 times he's played.

Granite Hills has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for El Cajon Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
