Soccer Recap: Southern Nash Takes a Loss

Southern Nash had taken Hunt down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Firebirds took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Southern Nash were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hunt apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Southern Nash now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Hunt, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Nash will head out to challenge Rocky Mount at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Southern Nash will be up against Rocky Mount's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.07 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hunt, they are taking a road trip to take on Northern Nash at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
