Volleyball Game Preview: Bridgeport Indians vs. Spring Valley Timberwolves

The Bridgeport Indians will square off against the Spring Valley Timberwolves at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeport is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

On Wednesday, Bridgeport narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Robert C. Byrd 3-2.

Bridgeport took Robert C. Byrd into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 24-26, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Spring Valley got the win against South Charleston on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.

Bridgeport's win bumped their record up to 32-11-5. As for Spring Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 34-12-7.

Bridgeport couldn't quite get it done against Spring Valley when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
