Soccer Recap: Southeast Guilford Takes a Loss

Southeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Northwest Guilford Vikings, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Northwest Guilford this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Southeast Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Northwest Guilford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Guilford will head out to take on Page at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwest Guilford, they will venture away from home to face off against Hough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hough will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Northwest Guilford surely won't give up without a fight.
