Deposit-Hancock took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They breezed by the Afton Knights to the tune of 64-32. With Deposit-Hancock ahead 36-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Leading Deposit-Hancock to victory were Blake Fortunato and Micah Simmons. Fortunato dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds, while Simmons dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Simmons a new career-high in offensive rebounds (ten). Another player making a difference was Alejandro Gonzalez, who earned eight points.
