Soccer Game Preview: Burlingame vs. Aragon

The Burlingame Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Aragon Dons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burlingame's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Burlingame's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Sequoia, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Aragon managed to keep up with Menlo-Atherton until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Aragon lost 3-0 to Menlo-Atherton. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Dons haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Aragon's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-2. As for Burlingame, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-2 and their overall record up to 3-7-2.

Burlingame skirted past Aragon 2-1 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Burlingame repeat their success, or does Aragon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
