Football Recap: David Emanuel Academy Eagles vs. John Hancock Academy Rebels
There's no place like home for David Emanuel Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the John Hancock Academy Rebels, posting a 44-0 win at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.
A big part of the victory came down to the chemistry between Richard Braddy and his top target Sailor Powell. Braddy threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes while Powell gained 152 total yards and three touchdowns. Powell got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 75 yards.
David Emanuel Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for John Hancock Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
