Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Upper Arlington

Upper Arlington made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hilliard Davidson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Golden Bears blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Thursday. The Golden Bears were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Golden Bears were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: Hilliard Davidson scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

William Poth paced Upper Arlington's offense, picking up 12 kills. Poth got some help from Abhiram Busi and his 32 assists. Finally, Poth was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

The victory (which was Upper Arlington's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. As for Hilliard Davidson, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-7.
