It was a good run, but Bennington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Celtics. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Bennington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Levendofsky, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bennington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Trinity beat Bennington by a score of 11-1 later that day.
