Basketball Recap: South Delta Bulldogs vs. West Bolivar Eagles

After losing to West Bolivar the last time they met, South Delta decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Delta Bulldogs managed a 55-51 victory over the West Bolivar Eagles on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Amarion Sanders was his usual excellent self, putting up 12 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Marvin Powell, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

South Delta's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for West Bolivar, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

South Delta will take on Shaw at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Shaw will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something South Delta surely won't give up without a fight. West Bolivar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
