Volleyball Recap: Conway Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Conway won the last time they faced Republic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wampus Cats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wampus Cats have posted since August 30th.

Despite the loss, Republic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Pullan had five digs and three aces.

Conway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Republic, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.

Conway has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Ozark on the 20th. As for Republic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Eldon on the 20th.
