Baseball Recap: Bonneville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Bonneville hadn't done well against Viewmont recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Lakers skirted past the Vikings 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lakers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Hudson Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has become a key player for Bonneville: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Bonneville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaygen Noble, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Noble has posted since back in March.

Bonneville's record is now 8-11. As for Viewmont, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.
