With a playoff win on the line, Coalfield rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 40-7 win over the Sale Creek Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Yellow Jackets sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Jaiden Bunch was his usual excellent self, rushing for 253 yards and five TDs while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also catching one touchdown. Those 253 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Coalfield's record is now 11-2. As for Sale Creek, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-2 record.

Coming up, Coalfield will be playing at home against South Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last 12 matchups. Sale Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
