Basketball Recap: Union City Beats Lookeba-Sickles for Their Third Straight Victory

Union City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Lookeba-Sickles Panthers with a sharp 77-52 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-40 back in December of 2024.

Union City's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Lookeba-Sickles, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Union City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lookeba-Sickles, they will head out on the road to take on Hinton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
