Basketball Recap: Cavalier Comes Up Short

Cavalier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by Langdon/Edmore/Munich 62-31. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Langdon/Edmore/Munich are ranked 34th).

Cavalier's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Cavalier has already played their next game (against Langdon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Langdon/Edmore/Munich does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
