Soccer Recap: San Juan Takes a Loss

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Highlands Scots, falling 11-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as San Juan were already down 5-2.

Mekhrdod Sadriddinov and Brian Sanchez scored both of San Juan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Highlands, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Juan is set to square off against their familiar foe Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Highlands will take on rival Esparto at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
