John Battle came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lee Generals a 16-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-9 on Tuesday.

John Battle pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
