Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Bravo back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 8-7. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rubie Morales and Gladys Barajas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Morales scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Barajas scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Ash De La NUEZ was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bravo, their record is now 4-1.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Marshall on the 11th. As for Bravo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against Wilson on the 11th.
