Innovation is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lake Buena Vista an 8-0 shutout. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Innovation considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Auburndale had just enough and edged out Sebring 1-0 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Auburndale in their matchups with Sebring: they've now won six in a row.

Auburndale's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Innovation, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Innovation came out on top in a nail-biter against Auburndale in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulls since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
