Basketball Game Preview: Norwich Eagles vs. Cunningham Wildcats

The Norwich Eagles will square off against the Cunningham Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Norwich came up short against Central Christian and fell 40-28. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 12 points.

Meanwhile, Cunningham also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Fairfield by a score of 45-34. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Norwich's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Cunningham, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything came up roses for Norwich against Cunningham when the teams last played last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 53-25 win. Will Norwich repeat their success, or does Cunningham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
