Basketball Recap: Chase County Takes a Loss

Chase County's game on Monday was all tied up 29-29 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 59-48 to the St. Patrick's Irish. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Irish recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Chase County lost, don't look at Carson Terryberry. Despite the final result, he posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Camron Lempke, who scored ten points.

Chase County's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Patrick's, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Chase County has already played their next game (against Holyoke), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Patrick's will take on Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Patrick's has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
