With a playoff win on the line, Killdeer rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against Ray/Powers Lake as they made off with a 39-13 victory. 39 seems to be a good number for the Cowboys as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

The victory was the third in a row for Killdeer, bringing their record up to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Ray/Powers Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Killdeer will challenge Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ray/Powers Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
