Charlotte Catholic proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Christ School Greenies 4-2. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Greenies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ben Bordeaux looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke Danser, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025.

Charlotte Catholic's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Christ School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Charlotte Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Sun Valley on the 14th. As for Christ School, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Greenville H on the 14th.
