With a playoff win on the line, Concordia rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Lockwood Tigers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Fighting Orioles sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Not much got past Olivia Hemme, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Lockwood off the board. Hemme has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karleigh Wilckens, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Concordia's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Lockwood, they moved to 24-7 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Concordia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lockwood, they have already played their next match, a 12-4 victory against Oak Ridge on the 27th.
