Ridge Community gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 33-21 victory over the Kathleen Red Devils. The win was nothing new for the Bolts as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.

Lavonski Tubbs had a dynamite game, rushing for 275 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 161 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Daniel James, who picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Ridge Community will venture away from home to face off against Lake Wales at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kathleen, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 44-6 victory against Mulberry on the 28th.
