Southeastern Local entered their tilt with Fort Loramie on Saturday with 13 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 14. They came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 8-4. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 9-4 victory the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Reese R Wells made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Allie Lewis was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Vanover, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Southeastern Local kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in ten consecutive matches.

Southeastern Local's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Loramie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Southeastern Local didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Madison Plains on the 28th. As for Fort Loramie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Shawnee on the 26th.
