Basketball Recap: North Union Triumphs

North Union hadn't done well against Lake Mills recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Warriors came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 54-45. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 58-51 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

North Union's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lake Mills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

North Union and Lake Mills will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Warriors see the court they'll take on Central Springs at 7:45 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Lake Mills, their break will end when they face North Iowa at 7:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
