Volleyball Recap: JC Bermudez Doral Takes a Loss

JC Bermudez Doral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Miami Beach Hi-Tides. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hi-Tides 25-17 in the first set.

JC Bermudez Doral started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-6.

JC Bermudez Doral's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Miami Beach, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. JC Bermudez Doral will head out to square off against Miami Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miami Beach, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Coral Gables at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
